Yoga Classes

YOGA returns you to:

  • Vitality
  • Alertness and strength of youth. Breath is a doorway into the inner Self, a Reality beyond all realities. Let the doorway of your breath flow naturally.
  • YOGA is a 6,000 year old technique which is both a science and an art. YOGA tones and strengthens the body and allows the
  • Flow of “prana” (life spirit) to bring healing to the cells, molecules and every system of our being. As we learn to move, breathe and sit with awareness, transformation begins to take place; old habits, old ways of being will fall away.

image-3Through the alchemy of the breath and becoming Present, we are able to release the “noise” (anxiety, fears, old habits) of the body/ mind so our true nature may shine through. By attuning ourself to our deeper spirit, a sense of wholeness/holiness follows.

The breath is the bridge to your peace and your true knowing.
Silence is the threshold to the kingdom within.

YOGA class includes asanas/ways of being/poses that challenge and allow the body to open, realign and become strong. Bones become more dense, joints open and there is an over-all flow of blood, prana, cranial and spinal fluids and lymph. “Movement is life and life is movement,” is an old Taoist saying. And being still opens the soul.YOGA is both the yang and the yin- the effort and the yielding. I teach Raja Vinyasa Amrita Yoga known as the Kings Yoga also called the YOGA of the eternal joy of God.
